Internship at IMT Mines Alès: Reinforcement Learning for Human motor control

IMT Mines Alès is looking for an internship as part of its research activities with the EUROMOV DHM laboratory.
The subject concerns the implementation of a musculoskeletal model and its study in reinforcement learning contexts.
The main aim is to implement physical models related to movement sciences in Python, and to train control policies for these models (see myosim for examples).
The applications of this work are numerous (robotics…), and closely linked to medical issues (e.g. post-stroke rehabilitation).

Ideally, the trainee will be based in Alès, but it may be possible to arrange for him/her to be based in Montpellier if desired. Recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis, so please get back to us as soon as possible if you are interested by this internship.
